Comme de Garçons Homme Plus Un Plume Autumn/Winter 2015/16 Runway show during Paris Fashion Week.
I was giving a class lecture and slide show that day at RISD with my old friend Forrest Curl who was teaching there at the time. I watched all of my work come down the runway with tears in my eyes, and a lifetime of affirming gratitude deep in my heart.
Thank you Adrian Joffe, Rei Kawakubo, and the entire Comme de Garçons family for seeing my work through your inspired process, and wildly effective, and distinct lens.
Homme Plus AW15
It was a deep honor to have my work as the Homme Plus Un Plume Autumn/Winter Collection for Comme de Garçons 2015/16. Love and massive thanks to Adrian Joffe, who was lovely and so inspiring to work with, and of course, the inimitable, profoundly imaginative and singular Rei Kawakubo for choosing 22 pages from my 2014 Rizzoli book as her imagery and sentiment for that season’s thematic pieces.
