In celebration of Atari’s 50th anniversary, Misfit Collectibles partnered with Joseph to release this limited edition work of art that commemorates some of Atari’s most beloved games.

Born in 1970, JK5 distinctly recalls not only the launch of Atari’s first gaming console but the hours upon hours he used to spend in his basement with friends playing the games, exploring the environments, and eventually, using the characters from Atari’s games as inspiration for his early drawings. Summers were spent riding his BMX bike around town with friends in search of arcades that had all the Atari games. To say Atari was a formidable force in his childhood is an understatement. So it’s no wonder that decades later, when asked if he would take on designing a collectible watch celebrating Atari’s 50th Anniversary, JK5 jumped at the chance to explore that tether to his childhood he never quite severed.
